Criminal Justice-Crime in America

Students study the Criminal Justice System at PAHS. Research about crime in America is the objective.

Students are educated by members of the the law enforcement community who come as guest speakers to the class.

 

Deputy US Marshall Serrano speaks to the criminal justice class about the duties of the officers in the US Marshal Service, the oldest law enforcement agency in the USA.  

BELOW: Lt. James Stokes of the Port Aransas Police Department shows some of the equipment used by local law enforcement. Lt. Stokes also instructed the students about the requirements to become a police officer as well as discuss the unique problems law enforcement faces during spring break.
